dress shopping

So, keeping his end of the deal, Jerry took me dress shopping on Saturday after I had gotten off work. I am in between a 16 and an 18. The 18s were either perfect or baggy, or the 16s were perfect or too tight. After trying on several different dresses, I found a dress that is cute, affordable, and fun. I also got some the way, if anybody wants a little extra cardio...go try on several different shapewear styles. I guarantee a good workout. :)

Last night, we went to my in-laws for dinner. My mother and father-in-law made lean deer steaks, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade bread, and fruit salad. After dinner, we all went out for a stroll through the neighborhood. My husband and FIL took their bikes, my sis-in-law and mom-in-law walked casually and my niece and nephew (9 and 7) played silly games where we ran (cheetah speed), jogged (towmater speed), sideways walked ( crazy crawl) hopscotch jogging, kangaroo jumping, backwards walking, and on and on they went. I can't believe I was able to keep up with them, though since it was a little dark out I felt protective of them, so at first it was more of feeling a need to be sure they were safe, but then it just became a lot of fun. My husband and I raced up a VERY steep hill...and might I add that he was on his bike, and he weighs 150....and I sprinted up and kept up with him! And then, even the 2 kids were running out of energy, but I was still ready to go! It made me feel awesome :)
