Oh my, I realize I haven't written a blog entry in a long time! No worries, everything is rolling along smoothly. Remember the binge I had 2 weeks ago? The 4 day-long-one? Well, coming out of it (actually, after a week coming out of it) I somehow dropped 10.5 pounds. I weighed myself after those 4 days, and I shot up from 215 to 221 lbs. A week later, I am 210.8 lbs. I am guessing most of the binge weight gain was water. I was also starting my period when I weighed in at 221 too. I was just ending it when I weighed in at 210. It still took my by surprise. I ended up making goal by Easter. I wanted to be below 213 lbs. I thought I blew it. I was happy I made it after all
We'll see what next week brings. I'm guessing the scale won't move much! I am running ahead of schedule with my next goal, which is to weigh-in at 199 by June 22nd. That would be a weight loss of 54 pounds. I just wanted that goal to be below 200 pounds at the Family Reunion. I am thinking I'll probably be 190 by then, but who knows. I have yet to hit a plateau since starting January 1st so I am probably due. That's not a great attitude to have, but I am known to plateau in the 190's. I remember the last time I plateaued at 192 for weeks. Two months, maybe. That was miserable.
I need to bump up my exercising this week. I am slacking there. I haven't been to the gym in a long time. I've been taking long walks outside 3-4 days a week, usually 3-4 miles. It's fine, but it's definitely not challenging.
