lol, always love this one. :)

We usually coated it in butter and that did the trick. Or, we buried it in his food, but too often when he was finished there was nothing left in the bowl but the pill. Grinding it up and adding it to food works easier. :)

And people wonder why I dislike cats -- in general.

The one who is in our house and I have an understanding: he doesn't sit on my head and I won't throw him into the next room (oops, missed the door way again. Last time the door was closed, so he was lucky this time.). He doesn't understand how an understanding like that is supposed to work.

    Too funny!!

Been there done that -- well, not exactly with the pill thing. My mom had to give a cat some pill and she just worked the pill into some margarine (the cat loved to lick the margarine if you left the container on the kitchen counter uncovered...eeewww. Happened only a couple of times before we learned to keep the margarine supervised on the table or back in the fridge!)

Dogs are much easier. Yeah, lunch meat is the best to give dogs their meds. Why are cats so difficult? Very funny piece of writing. You should submit it to your local paper or any mag asking for freelance submissions. You might get some money.

Thanks for the Spark Goodie. Hope you ("Ethel") and "Fred" (ha ha) had a nice joyful Easter!
