what gets in way of going to the gym in the morning

This past week I began forming a new habit: going to the gym before work on Tues, Wed, Thurs. I am proud to report that I did this on Tuesday and Wednesday! I was just too too beat by Thursday morning. I did notice, on Tuesday what may have prevented me from getting to the in the morning and likely many other times.... emoticon laundry emoticonfilling the dishwasher... paying bills, organizing, the same stuff as everyone else, minus the kids (been there, done that!)

So I am practicing walking away from everything that needs to be done, walking to my car and drivng away... to the gym. I did notice I felt FANTASTICALLY FABULOUS on Tuesday, not so much on Wednesday. I did a tougher workout on Tuesday, so I will test this theory this week and work out hard every day.

I DID find myself thinking, later in the week, well I exercised Tues and Wed and I think I exercised Sunday....soooo maybe I can skip. But I didn't emoticon

I GAINED weight this week, sighhhh, I hate the scale. I think it was too much fruit and meat, crazy right? not too much candy and chips... blah blah blah

GOALS this week
- gym M-Th in the AM
- off Fri
- Gym Saturday

decrease meat and fruit- already shopped for a couple of work meals and soygurt.

    Hate the scale - I'm thinking of dumping mine - it never tells me anything good anymore no matter how hard I work.

Your plan sounds good... I know what you mean about being too beat by Thursday... but boy, walking away from everything that needs to be done... I really need to give that a go...

    Just remember that when you start on getting fit you will actually gain weight but it is muscles and not fat so go by how your clothes feel and not what the scale says. As you get more fit you will see the scale go the other way just give it time.
