Today was a holiday and time to be with family. I treasure each holiday more as time goes by. My parents and in-laws range in age from 75 to 80. Many of my friends have lost their parents. Mine are all in relatively good health. We went to the Easter buffet at a local restaurant and they are all still able to manage this on their own. They also seem to appreciate life more as they age. It is true when they say "Youth is wasted on the young." Young people cannot appreciate life the way they do. My parents really are living "Carpe Dieum" everyday!
