Monday is the start of my fitness commitment to myself. I saw some of the Spark Fitness Videos and I was very impressed. It is something that someone in my predicament can do. In fact, I know I will be able to do them. Some, I will have to skip until my shoulder heals up. Hopefully that won't be so long off. I know I will have to space myself at first, but I am really looking forward to this.

Juicing---Hhhmm, I am going to try this. Hopefully it doesn't taste too bad. I will go get me some stuff this evening. I think I will try baby spinach, celery, carrots, banana, and maybe a strawberry or two. I am not too partial to strawberries.( I know close your mouth), but I just don't like it. I might pick up some orange juice to go in it also. Any suggestions?

    I do smoothies...I do 1/2 cup of orange juice, 1 cup mixed berries and a handful of spinach and 5 egg whites, blend, yummy add some ground flax seed, blend, and yumm..drink up. You can't taste the spinach...but wow, what a yummy healthy protein smoothie.

    I'm not a juicer so I don't have any advice on that front. I'm really glad, though, that you've found some videos that will suit your needs with a bit of adaptation. Yay! I tore my rotator cuff about 1 1/2 years ago and (without surgery) it finally has healed completely. It took a long time and I had to really work around it when doing my strength training but it paid off in the long run.

    If you are going to juice you had better leave out the bananas, they don't juice very well if at all.

    Jump in and try a few things, you'll find something you like and maybe something you don't like, but you'll just learn not to make that one again...LOL.

    If you are going to use a juicer, try rolling your green leafy veggies up so that they will juice better, and give you more juice.

    It's really good to hear your trying it out, I know you will find something you like. Also like the previous comment, I do green smoothies as well.

    Which ever you decide either one will go just fine with you getting more active and should give your body nothing but good things.

    The spark fitness videos are great, I have done some in the past and they worked really good for me.

    I haven't juiced like that before. My thing is smoothies. Hehe! Let us know when you find a good combination. I'm not fond of spinach except raw in salads, so I would skip that one. Hehe!
