Hi all! Happy Easter to all of my wonderful Spark friends! I am taking a few minutes to check in after my 2.5 mile walk/run this morning. I am going to have a healthy breakfast in preparation for a family Easter lunch and dinner!
I definitely feel more motivated and stronger going into the holiday knowing that I have been active this weekend and that my shopping, housework and food prep is done for the week. I feel like I have definitely set myself up for success and have the right attitude going into today.
Today will definitely be a challenge for me. My in-laws are not as supportive of my weight loss efforts, and both meals will be with them at two different houses. I will have to listen to the comments about how I don't eat enough, how I am "getting too thin" (that is just laughable) and how I am "being ridiculous". I plan to bring my crochet project with me to help keep my hands busy while I am chit chatting with everyone, and just remember my goals when it comes to walking down the buffet tables!
