7. Because I LIKE getting up at 7am on the weekend and going to the gym
I really do. We had dinner last night with friends who are doing the same thing we are. They got back from the Dominican Republic a couple weeks ago and last night, she was saying that she worked out in the gym on her normal schedule. And I didn't think she was nuts. There was a time I would have. But now I'm planning to pack my running shoes when we go to Vegas and I'm planning to use the gym on my normal schedule (I'd better with the food and drink I know I'll consume).
But more than that. I love walking out of the gym dripping in sweat, knowing I've run x miles. Knowing that I've taken several more steps on my way to a healthier me AND my next half marathon. I love the energy I get. The confidence. The ultimate "I CAN DO THIS!" that comes with that.
Which REALLY means that during the week, I need to hit the gym in the morning rather than after work.
