Yep - I've been drinking my water and I can't wait until my body gets used to the increase.
I'm also even closer to my calorie goal today - only over by 50 points. I'm hoping to start hitting under the goal tomorrow. I have a three day weekend to work on the caffeine/soda issue and I plan on dropping to two a day. I even exercised again today, albeit a short seated workout. The ache from the strength training yesterday combined with the nerves in my legs from my Fibro made me pretty sure I'd wear out to quickly if I tried something standing, or even going for a walk. I know both will get better over time though - I just have to work up to it slowly and not get discouraged and give up along the way.
I was reminded tonight of part of my reason for doing this now. This will be the first week I'm officially on hiatus from writing my TV blogs and my shows were on tonight. Usually, I recap/review The Big Bang Theory and The Mentalist for www.thetwocents.com
but I've been having such a hard time with my Fibro lately that I have trouble staying focused. Plus, since I'm having a lot of problems sleeping when I should be, I have related problems staying awake when doing things like watching TV. Losing weight and fitting into my smaller clothes will be great, but controlling my Fibro instead of letting it control me is the big picture. That's what it's really all about.
So, that's it for today. I feel pretty good. I feel confident. And I feel like I may actually be able to sleep tonight - if all this water doesn't wake me up too often.
