Update

I've been out of the game for the last week. I've barely been tracking, and I've only exercised maybe three times in the last two weeks. For SHAME. I think it's Spring fever. Last week, work was crazy and I had to stay late for a couple of days so I didn't get to the gym. Then I took a mini-vacation with a friend at the beach for the weekend. We went swimming at her timeshare condo, and there was a bar IN the pool. A----mazing! So, needless to say, I had too many booze calories and too many food calories, not that I tracked any of it, of course. After I did that over the weekend, I decided that I didn't feel like tracking for most of this week. I also didn't work out, either.

Today was a new day, though! I went to the gym and set the treadmill to '5K' to try to get ready for the 5K iI have in 2 1/2 weeks. This was my first run-through and I was quite pleased with my results. I ran/walked the whole thing in 46 minutes on the treadmill. Not bad for my first try! I was pretty happy with that. It can only get faster from there. But I know it's going to be harder outside. Much, much harder. Ick. Humidity. Heat.

So....that's that. I've been a lazy @ss. And NOW it's my SPRING BREAK!!! I get a week off from school! There will be some issues with tracking, but I still plan on getting my running done.

It's gonna be a great week :)
