Things are a changin'

1. Picked up my mail on hold at POffice. Got a bill due our Clinic for $15 the next day. I owe no other money and never had a late payment. BUT the next day, due day, I got a call from the clinic about my payment being due. HUH? $15 not yet late?

2. Public education, which I believe in, seems to be a political football. Huh?

3. Got lab work done at the Clinic. But they won't send it to my Dr across the hall, because my requesting Dr. is not in the Clinic system. Even tho he wrote and requested and I wrote giving permission and offered to walk it across. Huh?

Think I'll go do a cross word puzzle and boost my brain so I understand it all. emoticon

Very strange. My doctor gives me copies of my lab work, and I can give it to anyone I like.

Healthcare....ug! I went to a doctor the other day and he recommended an MRI. Do you think that I could get it right there at the hospital......no way..........I have to go to a place on the other side of town.

Unfortunately, I don't think crossword puzzles will help your problem; not unless all of the goofballs who make the rules do them also.

You have the right to ANY of your medical records. If they do not give them to you threaten to report them to the State Medical Board. Also be sure to let your physician know this is occurring.

It is all perplexing. I hope the crossword puzzle helped you. If only the system could get straightened out. Can't you get a copy of the lab test for yourself, then hand it to your doctor? It all is so ridiculous! I hope today is better for you.

Everyone is getting antsy about money, so it seems that calls about money due will be the wave of the future. Not late, but due. Sad state of affairs.

That whole lab work thing is a conundrum. Your medical record is yours though, so they cannot keep it from you. Seems as if hand delivery is going to have to be the answer.
