Last time I logged into Spark to make a blog entry, there were pop up adds EVERYWHERE! It was driving me nuts! I couldn't even post the entry because of the ads!
Today I logged in just to update some measurements and be able to compare them to a year ago. I'm glad to see that some of those ads have been reigned in.
Today I weighed in at 167.8 which is the lowest number I've seen since getting preggo with my now 3 year old. I lost some inches all around as well.
Workout wise, I just completed Lindsay Brin's 61+ Day Challenge 1. Its a 30 day challenge for those that have recently completed her 60 Day Slim Down. Definitely bumps up the cardio and really targets the core on strength training days. I have a cardio workout to make up for this week due to being out waaay later than I planned to yesterday. Today is Yoga and Pilates to really target the core, but you get some other muscles toned in there as well.
I'm still riding almost every day. I have a new baby horse to take care of now as well. He was just kinda dumped off at the farm b/c no one wanted him anymore. :( He is somewhere around 2 years old. We honestly know nothing about him because he was just dropped off with no info. We can only guess his age by looking at his teeth. He's not quite old enough to start riding (and honestly the way he's growing right now I'm not going to ride him until next summer when he's 3) so instead we go for walks. Its like walking an oversize puppy. Our goal is to go out walking 3 days a week. The length of the walk just depends on what else is going on and how long I can keep his attention (he's kinda ADD..)
I have a new addiction for healthy recipes, Undressed Skeleton. Google it. This chick is awesome. Some of her breakfasts look too strange for me, but a majority of them look fantasticly yummy. I've made 3 of her recipes so far, Banana Doughnuts (only 100 calories a piece), Banana chocolate chip muffins (again only 100 calories), and a smoked chicken recipe served with her mashed potatoes recipe and green beans. My husband had absolutely no clue how the chicken recipe was "diet". Its packed with flavor and still comes in under 300 calories (for just the chicken and the salsa its served with).
Maybe I'll start checking back in weekly like before.
