So, yes, I weighed myself today and I'm back up to 170......geez, what a crock of you know what. It seems like I must keep exercising my butt off on a weekly basis to keep this weight off......who knew?
So I'm on to trying something different to get me started again. The eating hasn't been horrible......it's not been great by any stretch of the imagination.....but it's not been horrible. My blood sugar levels aren't too bad either. I'm working really hard at getting them under control. I'll get another A1C this week and my last one was 7.8, so if I can get lower than that I'll be happy.
On the exercise front I've downloaded an app called Zombie's Run
You don't have to run, but it's actually getting me to. You can walk.....tonight I lifted weights and during the portions where it told me to run I did squats. So, it's kind of a game and an exercise app all in one. You wear your headphones and it tells a story and while you're exercising you are picking up items. It will play your own music and in between songs you will get another bit of the story and might come upon zombies that you have to run from. You can actually hear the zombies breathing right behind you. I figure it can't hurt to try something new and if it gets me moving all the better.
