Strange day yesterday. I was tired and had a slight headache all day. There is a scale in the restroom at work and I can't resist getting on it every time I go in there. This has actually helped me understand how much my weight can fluctuate during the day, and day to day, so I don't freak out when I don't like what it says. Usually my weight drops throughout most of the day though, and yesterday it was higher every time I got on it! I was obviously retaining water rapidly. Something was wrong. Then on the way home one of my tires went flat, so I got home later than I had planned. Perfect excuses to blow off my workout and try again tomorrow.
Instead, I did the upper body strength training that I had planned (and I'm feeling it this morning), and added a short cardio session on the treadmill that wasn't planned!
I even decreased my calories a little bit to really end the day strong. On top of that, I turned off my lights at 11:01 last night! Got it all done and I'm ready to face a great day today!
