Well, the end of March/start of April had a great surprise for me. Stepped on the scale on Saturday, and I am down 3 and a 1/4 pounds (net) for March. With the half a pound gained at the start of the month, that's 3 3/4 lbs (gross) that I lost. Not the 5 lbs I was shooting for, but still pretty good progress.
And then it got better. While digging in my closet yesterday to see if I had anything nice to wear for Easter that would actually fit me (I didn't), I found a pair of pants. I didn't recognize them at first, but then figured out that they were from before I got pregnant. Since the pants I've been wearing have gotten so loose, I decided to try them on...they fit! A tad snug, but in that "tight pants to make me look good" way, not "uncomfortable but I'm going to say they fit anyway" tight. The other pair of pre-pregnancy pants that I've been using as a guide, which aren't quite as stretchy, are almost wearable as well! I'll be shocked if they're not by the end of the month.
So, I have now lost around 8 lbs in two months. I am SO doing this! And if I can actually manage to get my exercising to go from sporadic to regular, I will do even better.
Whoo Hoo! Goal weight, here I come!
