As some of you know I split this year into 4 quarters. I did this because I think even though I have new months and new weeks I think it's nice to have quarter goals that can vary by season! Obviously when it's warmer I will have more minutes and miles because I can be outside more!
I also wanted to document my measurement progress. Remember..I did away with the scale except 1x/month and that is just for recording purposes. So here is the moment of truth!
January 1st-

So...that is a total of 8 inches that I have lost in 3 months! And January and February weren't my greatest months b/c I was sick. Needless to say I'm very happy with those results. And for those who must know I have lost -0- pounds!
And this is exactly why I threw away the scale and I'm relying on the tape measure. Every area of my body is smaller but the scale did not budge! Let this be a lesson to all the women who obsess with the scale. Just say no and throw it away! You will feel so much better!
I also think I've made major improvements w/ my eating. I know I don't eat near as much. I don't crave as much junk food anymore and I've started cooking every single night during the week. We have cut back on our "side" portions and incorporated vegetables with almost every single meal. Even Ryan has decided to be healthier eating wise which helps me out tremendously!!
I would deem Quarter 1 as a success. My only goal for Quarter 2 is to beat Quarter 1 numbers:
Minutes: 3460
Miles: 46.01
Off days: 25
Morning Exercise: 19 mornings (definitely need to improve that)
# of weeks I exercise for at least 300 minutes: 7/13
I'm ready for Quarter #2!!
