Quarter 1 review!

As some of you know I split this year into 4 quarters. I did this because I think even though I have new months and new weeks I think it's nice to have quarter goals that can vary by season! Obviously when it's warmer I will have more minutes and miles because I can be outside more!

I also wanted to document my measurement progress. Remember..I did away with the scale except 1x/month and that is just for recording purposes. So here is the moment of truth!

January 1st-
Bicep-14
Chest-42
Waist-44
Hips-47
Thigh-24

March 31st-
Bicep-13
Chest-40
Waist-42
Hips-45
Thigh-23

So...that is a total of 8 inches that I have lost in 3 months! And January and February weren't my greatest months b/c I was sick. Needless to say I'm very happy with those results. And for those who must know I have lost -0- pounds!

And this is exactly why I threw away the scale and I'm relying on the tape measure. Every area of my body is smaller but the scale did not budge! Let this be a lesson to all the women who obsess with the scale. Just say no and throw it away! You will feel so much better!

I also think I've made major improvements w/ my eating. I know I don't eat near as much. I don't crave as much junk food anymore and I've started cooking every single night during the week. We have cut back on our "side" portions and incorporated vegetables with almost every single meal. Even Ryan has decided to be healthier eating wise which helps me out tremendously!!

I would deem Quarter 1 as a success. My only goal for Quarter 2 is to beat Quarter 1 numbers:

Minutes: 3460
Miles: 46.01
Off days: 25
Morning Exercise: 19 mornings (definitely need to improve that)
# of weeks I exercise for at least 300 minutes: 7/13

I'm ready for Quarter #2!!

    Wow, you lose for each of them, WELL DONE! I was obssessed with tracking my inches last time and not just few but lots of areas, I think it's about 10! So, now I'm starting again and try to do early month, avoiding the TOM period (I feel so low, so big and so heavy during that time so better not take any measurements during my moody time, haha).

And I'll follow your step, making quarter goal and update (last time I did but then I got lazy, haha).

    What a great quarter. Isn't it amazing when you look at measurements instead of the scale. That scale makes me so mad. Thats why I reincorporated measurements this month. I haven't done it in a long time. Scary............ Anyways, great quarter for you. You should be proud!!!
