On April Fools day I'm on the lookout so I don't get surprised by a prank, but I was not prepared for my scale to get me today. I have lost 11 pounds this week
I got through the first week of the 8 week diabetic challenge, and EVERYthing I ate was tracked. I managed to stay away from the evening snacking I like to do all but one night; I was over on calories only 1 night out of 7.
I don't expect results like this next week, but it sure was a nice kickstart for me. 11 pounds. Double digits. 2 pounds away from the 'teens'. Now, this week, when I want a snack, I can tell myself "Hey! look what no extra snacking did last week!!"
I want to try to increase my elliptical time from 6 minutes to 10 minutes a time this week, and I want to try walking a 1/2 instead of a 1/4 mile.
