Oatmeal in a jar

Sunday, April 01, 2012

I tried one of the recipes last week. The blueberry one. I had no chia seeds though. oh well.

I was surprised to enjoy it. Cold oatmeal... wasn't sure about that. But it was good. I plan to make more and try the other recipes.

I do admit that I was actually hungrier after I finished it. Thu was a very hungry day. I couldn't seem to get enough food. Dunno what was up with that.

We'll see what the coming week brings.

i love oatmeal..cold, hot or raw with yogurt. i add fruit, ground flax, almonds and cinnamon to make it more filling. a little fat and protein from nuts/seeds help slow down digestion so one feels full longer.

I eat cold oatmeal very morning. I use "My weird oatmeal" recipe in my SP recipe book. I like it.
