How I hate breaking my new great habits

We'll be returning home from the conference tomorrow, and as much as I enjoyed the sessions I attended, I did so hate having to eat on a schedule (never waiting until I was actually hungry) and over-eating at every meal. At an international conference, of course we sampled food from all over the world. Good intentions consistently went out the window. To my credit at the end of a fantastic African dance concert last night, I did join others on the stage to shake a few of those calories off.

Things will be back to normal when I get home. Thank goodness for opportunities to get away to experience something out of the ordinary, and thank goodness for the familiar routine of home.

    Well, you know that part of the benefit of getting to a healthy weight is that we CAN afford to do some things like that from time to time. Sounds like great fun sampling all that food! I'm envious. :-)

    It can be tough to stay on track while traveling. But good for you that you actually prefer your new healthier habits! I think that's a good sign you're on the right track. :)
