Love me some Goodwill.

Saturday, March 31, 2012

Before losing weight I think I had only shopped at Goodwill maybe once or twice. But now it truly is a necessity, I just can't afford to totally replace my wardrobe. I have found a surprising amount great things there in the past year.

I took a trip today and my plan was to look for cute, summery tops; work pants/capris; and workout clothes. I was successful on all counts! I got 2 cute tops, a pair of work-appropriate capris, 2 work-out tops, and a running skirt...all for less than $20!!!! I'm the most excited about my running skirt...I've been considering getting one for a few weeks now...was super stoked to find one at Goodwill and check skirts out without paying too much! I did a workout in it tonight...but haven't run yet so we'll see how that goes. Looking forward to it!

Rock your workout clothes! Wherever they may be from!

Yes I love the Goodwill stores too. I've found nice work clothes...silk blend tops and very nice blazers. I think I'm down a size so a trip there is warranted.

Totally agree, I buy most of my clothes there or at the local Church-run Thrift shops. It is just amazing what you can find at a fantastic price. Cheryl emoticon

    I love thrift stores!!

I loved them before, but even more now when losing weight. I reward myself with shopping trips and I don't go broke.

Good to hear your shopping was successful.

Goodwill is the best when your body is changing quicker than your income lol. I've always gone to Goodwill just because you can get a lot of nice clothes for a decent price. Plus I'm one I like to cut the sleeves outta my everyday shirts, so I don't want to spend 20 on 1 shirt just to cut the sleeves out....so I go to good will and get 3 to 5 for that same 20. Definately does a person and their wallet good to go to Goodwill.
