End of March - goals reviewed - new low 229.4

I am super happy to lose .8 lbs today, even moreso, because it got me down to 229.4, a new low this year, about 8 lbs over last years low.

I couldn't make the gym this morning, and had to drop 60 minutes from my monthly total. I looked at my March goal of 1350 minutes walking, and beat it by 500 minutes. In February I barely got 1250, so 1850 was pretty good. My goal for April is 1500. I hope to beat it by repeating 1850 really, but want a goal I can hit.

My other goal was to get back into the 210's. Seeing that on Mar. 1st I was at 239.8, I realize this was a lofty goal..lol. I have no idea how I thought I would lose 20 lbs. I lot 20 in February, but that was with Induction. I did end up losing 10.4 this month, and hoping to repeat that. So my goal stayed the same .. reach the 210's by months end.

My foot is feeling better. It only hurts when I put pressure directly on the toe. Hoping to get back to walking tomorrow. I am eating only 2 servings of vegetables today, then back to 7 tomorrow. My menu today was 4 ozs pork sausage with 1 tsp. spicy brown mustard for lunch, and for dinner I am having 17 ozs of steak with 1/2 and onion cooked in 1 Tbsp. olive oil. My snack I usually have during the day was cheese. So after dropping that, I am at 1230 calories, and need to come up with a few extra calories. I can't think of anything though. May just split dinner in 2. It's over the 1200 calories, so I won't go into " starvation mode " .. emoticon

I am gonna do 2 loads of laundry, and read some. Spark a bit, and watch a few shows I DVR'd. So basically waste the day away, and I don't care. I feel good, and may do a few laps around the apt complex, if I feel better later on. I can't wait for the pool to open. I plan to live there this summer.

    WHAT PROGRESS YOU SHOULD BE SO PROUD! I KNOW YOU CAN FOOL YOURSELF INTO REACHING THOSE GOALS! CLEANING, EATING ON TRACK AND GETTING OUTSIDE! YOU ARE AWESOME! KEEP AT IT!

    Good news. Wish I could come up with a good replacement idea on the snacks. Most of mine revolve around cream cheese - does that also bother you or is it just hard cheeses?

Since you're trying to "toe" the line before your doctor's appointment, why not join the team challenge of "No Fooling Around" - ie. sticking to your plan every day. It's a nice way to be extra accountable.
