Okay, somehow I think I broke a blood vessel in my left palm. Don't have a clue how I did it. Literally, I went to the bathroom and afterwards noticed a bump on my left palm. I am sure the two are not related in the least. It is just when I noticed it. This was on Tuesday or Wednesday. Today, I noticed that the bump is bigger and more tender. Also now it hurts to use my hand in some positions. So I will make a fool of myself tomorrow and go to the urgent care by my doctor to have it checked out. I am afraid to do much with it right now. I am also worried about a blood clot. I just wish I would be able to tell the doctor how I did it.

I break blood vessels in my left hand regularly. They are usually silly things like gripping the steering wheel, or a cup of coffee, or a pen. My dr has seen them and not concerned. It will help if your dr. sees this. My swell, turn blue, hurt to touch then dissipate over several days. All my odd and strange events seem to happen on my left side, and have for many years. I'm just quirky, I guess. Quite uncomfortable at the time. Hope yours is better soon.

I think you are smart to go for urgent care. Better to look foolish then leave something really bad too long. NOT THAT I AM SAYING YOU LOOK FOOLISH!!! Just go get an answer and then you HAVE to tell us next as now we are wondering what it is.

Try some ice on it until you get to the doctor and do not take asprin until you know what it is.

I am glad that you are going to an urgent care. You will not look foolish. When I changed this morning I had bruises on my right leg that I don't remember when I got them. They will need to look it over and see what might be happening.
