So what was part of my blog about yesterday? It was about the fact that my weigh-in day is on Saturday and I have made unhealthy choices this week. I got in a great workout at Curves last night, burned around 350 calories, then chose CHINESE food for dinner. "Silly TT". What in the world made me think that Chinese food was a good idea?! I ordered Sesame Chicken, fried rice, and 2 crab rangoon. By the time we got home with the food I was already feeling incredibly guilty, so I ended up only having a few bites of fried rice, a few bites of chicken, and both crab rangoon. I really wanted more, but I made myself stop. It was delicious, but it wasn't worth it!
I'm hoping to get in a walk today. "They" are saying it might rain later today, so I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to walk outside. I'd really like to stop at Creve Coeur Lake on my way home and walk there - it's about 4 miles around the lake in a very peaceful pretty setting. I think that would be a great way to end a stressful week! Not to mention burn off a ton of calories before my weigh-in tomorrow.
I'm starting to think about my goals for next month. I know that I've been struggling the past couple months to get to 500 fitness minutes, but I think I want to push the envelope and go for 1000 fitness minutes in April. I also just bought Coach Nicole's 28 day Bootcamp DVD. I want to start that on Sunday. Anyone try it yet? I'm curious as to what I'm in for!
I've been very pleased with my progress so far this year and I want to keep it up. I really think that officially weighing in only once a month is perfect for me. It's helping keep me motivated. Even though I cheat and get on the scale more often, I know that the only number that counts is the one on the last day of the month. Not to mention the fact that I set my weight goal really small so I succeed more and fail less! As long as I end each month weighing less than I did when the month started, I'm happy!
OH - I think I forgot to mention how I'm tracking my weight loss at home. I bought 2 small glass candle holders at Hobby Lobby and I put 90 small glass beads in one of them. That represents the amount of weight I want to lose. Then each month when I weigh-in, I move 1 bead for each pound lost over to the other container. I can't wait until the nearly empty one is nearly full. I think I'm going to start taking pictures of them each month and blogging the pics.
Anyway, enough rambling for one day. Have a great weekend everyone!
