March has been a very busy month. At work, we've all been working extra to cover for one of our coworkers who was out with a fractured wrist. I've also had a LOT of work-related extra curricular activities going on and trying to get my garden expanded and planted at the same time. I checked my BP today--92/61. At least I'm not having to worry about high blood pressure.
I've been reading the book "Eat to Live" by Joel Furman. Very interesting! I'm still struggling to get away from sweets; I do good for a few days then fall back off the wagon. I just finished reading about the 6-week diet plan and it looks reasonable and doable.
And it'd definitely fit better in my budget. Saturday I'm going to hear a Tibetan doctor speak on "Designing a Regimen for Optimum Health." From what little I've read about Tibetan medicine, it's very holistic and consists of lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, meditation, etc.) and not on quick fixes. I'm really looking forward to what he has to say!
I found the motivational collage I put together when I first signup up with SP and downloaded it to my iPhone and iPad to have on hand while I'm out and about. I've got one printed out and on my nightstand. If I can figure out how to convert it from pdf to jpg, I'll have my April motivational photo. If not, I'm sure I'll be able to come up with one. It was 2 years ago on April 1 that I closed on my house and I have not regretted it for a moment! It's definitely helped me to recharge, relax, and have projects I look forward to working on.
Okay, after flipping through some of my pics, I've decided on one of a man who I truly respect and admire. I found it on the internet somewhere, probably via google image.
