Made It To Wal-Mart

Got up early today. Was dressed and ready to go out the door by 11. Thats great for me.
We went to Bob Evans for breakfast/lunch. Yes it was good.
Then To Wal-Mart. I had some money from Christmas that I never used. I haven't been out much lately.
We needed a new remote for back room. I hate setting those stupid things up.I can turn TV on and change stations.I can turn dvd on and change stations.But can't get menu to work so that I can program something to record. I will mess with it more tomorrow.
I also got a new cordless keyboard for computer in back room. The one I had was crap. New one is so much better.
well nothing new. I am watching The Help. Very close to the book.

    I liked the book and the movie too - I thought they did a good job picking the actresses to play the characters.

  Hi Eleni........
I have read The Help and then I went to the movie twice. It was one of my favorite books and the movie followed it so well that it turned out to be one of my favorite movies too. The acting was flawless. I would have given all 3 nominees an Oscar.
I am glad to read that you made the trip to Walmart. I was there yesterday and bought material to make new curtains for one of our bedrooms. Ken painted it last week and I just wasn't happy with the old curtains with the new paint color.
Have a great weekend.......I plan to spend most of mine in the gardens.

    Sounds like you had a really good day Eleni. I borrowed the Help from my sister but haven't read it yet. Everyone keeps telling me how good it is so hope to start it this weekend. Hope you have a great weekend too. ((HUGS))

    Sounds like a busy day. We could never get those remotes to work either. Since we have U-Verse we can call and get a new remote any time.

I want to read "The Help" before I see the movie. All my friends said it was a great read.

    I didn't feel like going out today, but it is the first anniversary of my mother's passing and I wanted to put some flowers on her grave. So off I went. So we both went out today.

The Help was a good movie and I actually got some things cleared up from the movie that I didn't undertand fully in the book. I enjoyed them both.
