lost time is expensive!

Lost time really is expensive. Here i just weighed myself today and saw the last time I did was over a month ago! I know some people are addicted to weighing themselves, but I refuse to be fueled by fear and compulsive inquiry. Sometimes I think being obsessed at the scale is a little like checking your horoscope. the information is general and mostly benign. It can be read anyway you want that day depending on your mood or what you have recently experienced. However the more objective would be to take an honest look at yourself and adjust where it is really necessary without beating yourself up over slack, but focusing on what you ARE doing RIGHT! If the pants are a little looser, you are consistently getting the walk in and making better food choices, those are the long term goals that will keep binging and other self defeating habits part of history. So why am I disappointed, I just got so busy that it seems I have kinda stayed at the same weight for over a month. It is time to push a little harder so I can reach my short term goal.
Maybe it was watching the Biggest Looser last night and realizing that they worked out for HOURS a day. I was envisioning myself and if I could even force myself to do 2 hours a day. That will be my next goal, to increase the time and do so without complaining. I have so much to work on on the inside of me that I can only hope the outside will be more pleasant if I can just get my thoughts to be more pleasant as well. I'm not talking positive thinking, but elimination altogether of the o-my God i 'm just dying, how long will this last, how much longer? I don't know how people actually make the transition into LIKING it, but i need to stop agonizing over every minute if I am to stretch my walks into longer sessions.
Lost time is expensive if you have not purchased the change you were investing time in from the beginning. Time to add interest to my investment so I can reap the gains I want and loose the baggage. Sounds like a fair trade.
Any other comments?
