One for the record books

Hi, I am posting a new blog that will be for the record book in my opinion.

Well I got up this morning and got my son off to school which I do every morning. This morning I decided to go for a short walk to see if I can think of any new poems and when I looked over to the field I seen a eagle swoop down and take a small rabbit off the ground. I stood there for a few more minutes and then came home. As I walked up my drive way my legs gave out on me and instead of me falling backwards like I should have I ended up falling flat on my face in the snow. yes I said snow because it snowed here in Nova Scotia last night and I thought it was spring but I guess the winter is going out like I lion this year.

I am working hard to lose this weight but I crave chips everyday and I know that they are not good for me but I end up eating them anyways. I decided to start on April first to stop snacking all the time and start eating more fruit and veggies as snacks. I buy them all the time for my son and I should eat them myself.

I sit here at my desk and dance to my Zumba music every night and I enjoy it alot because dancing is a form of exercise as well.

    I too have cravings. I have learned to drink water to see if maybe I am thirsty. If I still crave them then I will eat a few. If I deprive myself of the sweets, chips etc. I then go on a binge and do nothing but eat junk for a few days and feel like crap.

You can do it!! One day at a time.

    IT'S OKAY, B/C WE ALL FALL BACK ON OUR OLD CRAVINGS. I HAVE BEEN CRAVING FOR SOME CHOCOLATE AND I KNOW THAT I CAN NOT HAVE IT. I GRAB ME AN APPLE OR ORANGE AND PUT THE IDEA OF CHOCOLATE IN THE BACK OF MY MIND. I ALSO CAN NOT HAVE WITH ME BEING DIABETIC. SOME TIMES I WILL EAT A SMALL PIECE AND PUT THE REST AWAY. THEN I DO NOT WANT IT ANYMORE. I WOULD RATHER HAVE SOME FRUIT THAN HAVE A TOOTHACHE. SOME SAID OUT OF SIGHT AND OUT OF MIND. I WILL NOT LET MY MIND TAKE OVER WITH SWEETS. TAKE 1 DAY AT A TIME AND
