My husband and I have been eating clean for about a week and a half now. Though tonight is the 2nd time I've eaten out since embarking on my new healthy eating path, this will be the first time I've put it into my nutrition tracker.
On Wednesdays, my BFFL and I go to a Sisterhood bible study. We usually meet for dinner first to catch up on each other's week. Tonight we're eating at Moe's. I've decided that I either need to go ahead and figure out how to eat clean when eating out, take my dinner meal in my cooler, too, don't eat out at all or just give in to temptation and eat what I would normally eat in that restaurant. Well, the latter is not an option! At least, not this week! I'm doing too good at this point to give in to a chicken quesadilla, delicious as it may be!
So I've gone to the nutritional tracker on the Moe's website and plugged in several options, staying within a good calorie range and staying clean. I've decided to go with a romaine salad topped with chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheese. I haven't had cheese since I started eating clean, so I may change my mind on this, only because my digestive system has done FABULOUSLY without dairy! I don't recall what other veggies they have there, but those can be added later. I've already plugged the nutritional info into my nutrition tracker in HOPES that I will be too shamed to go back later and plug in something super fattening or unclean. ;)
WISH ME LUCK!
p.s.--the salad will be a "streaker"--no shell. AND I have my own Misto sprayer that I use to wet my salads. This week, my "dressing" choice is lime juice.
