One year sparkversary

Wednesday, March 28, 2012

I am not where I thought I would be............but I am glad of everything I have accomplished. I have learned how to eat correct portions, I have started to exercise. I have walked 3 5Ks and I am getting ready to walk in the Heart and Sole 5 miler On 4-28-12, 11th Annual Providence Heart & Sole Women's Five Miler donates a portion of its proceeds to help fight heart disease - the number one killer of women.
I have learned that I have to respect myself and that I am Worth it...No one can do this for me, I have to make the choice. I Have no one to blame for where am at but myself. I have learned that if I fall I just have to get up, dust off and keep going...this is a lifestyle change not a quick fix. The progress has been slow but good..I will keep pressing on and hopefully shed some more pounds as time goes by.

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.

Congratulations for sticking with it for a year. I just started and find that it is a commitment. I hope I will be able to post a year from now that I am still using Sparks.
