12 Weeks ago, I started on a journey to help me reach my goals. I was looking for something that would challenge me, and also something that would keep me accountable, not only to myself, but to my team mates. I found it in the Biggest Loser Challenge. I will warn you this is a BIG commitment to make for 12 weeks, and it is not always easy to do when life tries to throw a wrench into your plans. However, it is a great way to stay on track with exercising, and with nutrition. There are challenges for almost everyday of the week, except for on your "rest" day. I know that may seem intimidating, but it is all about PARTICIPATION NOT PERFECTION. On the challenges, you have several different ways to get points for your team, you can choose to do all of it, or some of it. The teams stress participation, and love to have 100% participation, but also understand if stuff comes up. It is important to remember that it is a commitment, so if you are not sure you can do that for 12 weeks this may not be for you, but if you want something that will challenge you, give you great support and encouragement, and keep you accountable~~BLC is for YOU! Today is the day to sign up for BLC for anyone who wants to try it out! I can add the link as soon as it comes out for anyone who wants it!
Sharing my successes from my 12 week journey:
In this journey to reach my goal for this past 12 weeks, I have lost over 16 lbs. I have lost several inches as well. We take measurements again soon, so I will add that to my page as well! My pants have become way too big for me, and shorts that were tight on me now fit quite well. Funny story, my husband and I were in the store the other day. I went to get something, while he was looking for something else in the store. When I found him again, in the aisle, he looked at me, but had to do a double take. At first, he did not realize that it was me. He told me that even though he sees me everyday, and knows that I have lost weight, when he saw me from a far it was even more apparent how much weight I had lost. I am really happy to see in the mirror how much more toned I have gotten. I love the confidence I have gained in myself. I really enjoyed challenging myself, and I know that I am going to miss BLC during the 3 week break, but I am ready to work hard to keep this momentum going until it starts again!
So are you up for the challenge??
