Exercising

Wednesday, March 28, 2012

emoticon well! I've been exercising continuously for the past 2 wks & I've have seen changes; but my knee is acting up. It's been getting stiffer & tighter w/ the exercising.
I had a CT Scan done & I have really bad scar tissue build up again. My surgeon wants to another knee manipulation & I really don't but I really need my range of motion back in my leg. I hope this is the last time for the knee manipulation because it's my 2nd one.

That's great that you've been exercising. Good for you! I'm sorry you are having knee issues and hope the manipulation gets rid of your problem. Good luck to you!

You're doing great on the exercise it sounds like -- hopefully not too much for your knee - The other poster posting about other activities might be an answer....Is the scar tissue from?? A knee replacement? Knee surgeries?? Can't remember what you've had done....I will keep you in my thoughts....when your knees hurt I think your whole body does....good luck and keep us posted on the Knee/hip replacement team of how you're doing.

If you're not afraid of the water, swimming and/or water areobics are great ways to take the pressure off of your knees and it's therapeutic exercising. Also, don't depend ont he scale so much and use a measuring tape as muscle weighs more than fat. Hope this is the last time for you as well.Keep the faith. emoticon emoticon emoticon
