A Few Thoughts

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

The Ethnic Food Buffet at our church on Sunday turned out very well, 252 people participated. Our "pastor" Father Scott spent five hours slaving over a hot stove to make Chicken Picata which was one of the buffet choices. And, it was truly wonderful. Other choices were: stuffed cabbage, baked ziti, cabbage noodle, spinach and lettuce salad, rolls, and a wide variety of baked goodies, coffee, iced tea, bottled water. A nice time was had by all.

I heard this morning on the radio that UK teachers are banning school children from having best friends or pals. They are encouraged to play in groups instead of having just one good friend. Duh!!! Our country gets a lot of hints on social behavior from Europe, hope this isn't one of them.

Remember our ally Israel in your prayers especially on Friday. I understand that Jerusalem will be inundated with millions of Islams, not exactly sure if this is a friendly group. If anyone is interested I can research more and include it in another blog.

Onward we go SP Crusaders. We will get to our goals. Keep doing whatever you can to achieve that. And SMILE!

The food sounds yummy. Glad everyone had a good time.

As for the UK and their new found policy...how sad it would be if that happen to us as a society. Teachers should stick to teaching and leave the child rearing to the parent. So many parent rights have been infringed upon already.

Why are the muslems gathering in Israel? Is there a rally or a protest going on?
