Heartbroken, my Pastor's Son died, Prayers requested

Monday, March 26, 2012

Pastor Steve's son, Clay (in his 20's), passed away Thursday. We heard about it yesterday at church. Please keep Steve, Dana (mom), & his older brother Josh in your prayers. He wasn't feeling well and went to bed Thursday night. Not sure, but it might be that his heater malfunctioned (possibly carbon monoxide poisoning?). I don't actually know that part is speculation right now.

Heartbroken and looking to be surrounded by God's presence.

Sorry & I probably shouldn't be, but I am so sad right now. I know Clay is in a better place, but it is hard when a parent loses a child, you expect them to outlive you.

There is never a need to apologize for how you feel. It is difficult to lose someone you care about, especially if they are young. Our savior himself felt pain and grief. Eventually, the good memories will ease the pain. He will always be there in the hearts of his loved ones. I am sending prayers for his family and friends. emoticon

What a terrible tragedy, all sympathy to Clay's friends and family who must be hurting so much right now.
