Ethnic Food Day

Sunday, March 25, 2012

Well, I've gotten through Lent okay so far, trying to turn my attention to God's will for me and waiting for His message. It certainly helped in many areas of my life especially for Overeaters Anonymous. Without God's guidance I am pretty much empty-pocketed.

Today is the day when our parish, Incarnation of Our Lord, has a 4 p.m. Mass in celebration of the feast day and the ethnic foods dinner afterward. I've already given my sponsor a general idea of what I will choose without knowing exactly what the food choices will be. I know what I should and should not have, especially avoiding any of my special triggers. The three of us will enjoy our time together with the church community.

Onward we gooooo, SP Crusaders. Have a terrific day. Smile, it becomes you.

I hope you stuck to your guns and braved the dinner. Nothing harder than being surrounded by good home cooked ethnic food.
