First ride on the new bike and a couple new pics of it

Saturday, March 24, 2012

I did my first ride on the new bike today. It is fast, but it is also more unstable, so it takes some getting used to, especially in a cross wind. The gear changes are a little stiffer, as well. I've got a month to get used to it before my next event, though, so I should be in good shape.

    Keith,

How did I miss this blog on your new ride! Darn nice set of wheels, man! I think if I was looking for a street bike I would go with Trek. For blasting over mountain trails my pick is Specialized.

Nice bike! Enjoy the "chin rest," lol. Now if our bodies were as aerodynamic as the bike!

Wow, nice ride. Don't do the time trial thing, so pardon the question, but is that a chin rest between your aeros? God bless!

Nice machine. Yes, you are right it takes a little getting used to the 'cockpit'.
