It's been a really busy week with spring break for the kids! Haven't been able to do my regular workout but have been able to go on a good run pretty much every morning:)
I have been researching different ways of eating to try and clear my skin and it's been kinda confusing. I probably won't post here untilI figure all that out. I researched the Raw vegan diet and I stumbled upon dr John mcdougall who promotes a fat free, vegan lifestyle ( no meat or any animal products like dairy, eggs etc) with lots of fresh fruit and veggies mixed in but also lots of whole grains such as brown rice, oats etc. In fact the entire diet is centered around starches. he claimes the diet will clear up your skin, give you energy and overall good health and you never never have to be hungry. He also says it causes weight loss. That's the part I am skeptical about....
I'm a little overwhelmed with all the info out there and hope to find what works for me. Right now I am leaning toward dr mcdougall but with a higher amount fresh fruit ad veggies and using starchy foods to supplement.
But then again I am kind of tired of watching what I eat and still not having clear skin. I also don't wanna gain weight. So its all a little confusing
