Catching up and Getting older

Haven’t been blogging and had a period of not tracking, so my numbers for February and March are not great. I have been faithfully tracking since March 11, and hopefully I will see some results. I plan on having my goals be for March/April, in hopes of having a better picture of what I need to work on and any progress I may be making.

I do know that I have been losing and gaining the same 6 pounds for the last 6 weeks or so. Not a good thing. I have been trying to find a good balance between calories in and calories out. If I use SP to calculate my calorie burn, I usually end up short. If I use my HRM, it is usually double what SP gives, and I get a warning that I am not eating enough calories. Talk about stress and anxiety. I am also having some problems with my knees, especially my left knee. Walking, even a short jog, is no problem, but climbing and squatting, OWWEEE! EA Sports Trainer wanted me to do a lot of jumping the last two work outs. I modified as much as I could, but I was having a real hard time. Yesterday’s workout was upper body and core, so not too bad. I hope today’s is about the same, because Sat & Sun are rest days. Hopefully, my knee will get better on it’s own. I’ll give it another week, and if there is no improvement, or it gets worse, I’ll bite the bullet and go see my doctor. Man, I hate getting older. I am on civil enough term with my Ex that he is a Face Book friend (it helps that he is in Texas) and the other day he posted a picture with a little cat stretching and this statement:
I’M NOT OLD
I woke up,
I lifted my arms,
I moved my knees,
I turned my neck…
Everything made the same noise…
CRRRAAAAAACCCCKKKKK
I came to a conclusion…
I am not old,
I AM CRISPY!

    Hope that knee is ok! Tracking is definitely helpful. I only track fruits and veggies and water now but in the beginning I tracked every bite. It helped me get the portions right.
