Don't you love it when you keep something forever and it comes back in fashion or at least becomes useful again? Well I had one of those experiences this morning. Does anyone remember Slide Reebok? Yes I bought the lateral trainer 20 years ago thinking Nancy Kerrigan was going to get me into shape. HA!! Used it once and packed it away.
Well guess what made me resurrect it this morning? Yup, Cathe's Low Impact series!!! She uses slide discs for several of those exercises and unfortunately they do not work well on the carpeted/foam padded floor of my workout room, SO I had the brilliant idea to haul out the Slide and it works perfectly!!!!
I am so loving these DVDs. Unusual moves keep it interesting, great workout, no dread factor, BRILLIANT. I'm going to have to make a play list for them though because the music is not very motivating.
Had a good workout week. Actually picked the barbells back up for the first time since the shoulder issue. I'm a bit cautious but so fat so good. Speaking of barbells, am I the only one left in the dust while Cathe has already changed out her plates and moved on to the next exercise? No matter what you do you can never get those !@#$%^&* barbell collars/clips off as fast as she does. Well do I have the product for you.
Standard Lock-Jaw Collar by Power Systems
These are wonderful!! SO much easier that the spring lock collars that I have to wrestle with every time I use that barbell. I got them on Amazon and it has changed my workout almost as much as my beloved Valeo Barbell Pad did (thanks for the suggesting Dee but I already had one

). I'm almost as fast as Cathe now
