Katie: I know it seems a little odd to post what should be something personal between us but considering how much I love you, this is something I want the world to know.

I want the world to know how important you are to me and how very proud you have made me in your efforts to get your life and health going in the right direction. The determination and commitment you have shown has earned nothing less than my heartfelt respect and admiration.

Having just embarked on your journey, you have already overcome some pretty tough situations and learned some valuable lessons early, things I have had to learn. Some things I had help with, others, I had to work through alone but now that I have been through alot of it, I want more than anything to give you whatever I have learned so that your path may be easier.

Thanks for putting up with my constant babbling and unsolicited advice, I guess it is simply from a sincere heart that so very badly wants the love of his life to know and experience what this lifestyle change has done for him

Then there is the racing bug that I caught. Thank you for putting up with the cold, the travel, the running around, and yes, the endless yammering about running. Racing and running in general has allowed me to feel something very real, the feeling of what it is like to break mental and physical barriers. Those things have given me a quality of life that nothing else has ever done.

I am so very proud of you and I love you so very much. How cool is that, that we can get fit together and show the world that it is possible and that it is never too late to make a change.

I see the Spark that is taking place in you and I really believe in my heart of hearts that you truly get it this time and you will reach your goals....and I love it!

Keep strong baby and I know that I know that I know that you will see it through.

I'm so proud of you
