34 Days and Still Going Strong!

Thursday, March 22, 2012

Well, I have been on this 'days in a row' in keeping to my proper nutrition now for 34 days. Some days are easier than others but I will not allow myself to give in to temptation. What ever I eat, I post it on my tracker.
I have 17 days remaining to reach the goal that I set for myself. That is Easter Sunday when I will get on the scales for the first time in 8 weeks. Already I am getting nervous thinking about it. I know I have not eaten too much but I worry about not eating enough. But no matter what the scales tells me that day, I will accept it and just move on with my journey.
I plan to continue my 'days in a row' as best I can then until Memorial Day and won't get on the scales again until then. And I will continue in this mode until I have reached my weight goal.
I know that I will get there and I also know that I won't ever go beyond a pound or two from that goal as I finally realize this is a life time life style change. And you know what?? It ain't all that bad!!
By the way, I plan to blog on Easter Sunday and might even stick in a ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture. Hopefully I can get an updated one before then.

I stay away from the scale too. I weigh when I go to the doctors but rarely in between. I was surprised my first doctors visit to learn that I had lost 15 pounds. I think you are doing the right thing. You'll be so excited and proud of yourself on Easter when you see the results of your hard work. Praying for you success as you strive to get healthy. emoticon emoticon
