Have fun exercising? No way.....?

All week I have been trying to decide what to do as far as my workout plans go--I usually use my rowing machine everyday but that gets to be sooo boring! I was dreading doing it because it seemed like it took forever to burn the calories I was aiming for. So I was looking into what kind of things I think I would enjoy as far as exercise goes and came up with buying an exercise bike or an elliptical thingy...the only problem is that we have NO money ( really it is true--absolute zero at the end of the month after food and bills), so that was out of the question. So what do...?

I looked up some of the exercise videos that Sparkpeople had on the fitness page and tried out the 10 minute jump rope workout with Coach Nicole. I really enjoyed it and it was a great workout in only 10 minutes! So I looked up some more vids and also did the 10 minute kick boxing workout--I loved it! And after all it was a lot of fun and cheap and it satisfied my fitness goals for the day :)

So thank you Coach Nicole and Sparkpeople--you help me out so much !

    It's great isn't it - everything that you need is here! I think that the 10 minute workouts are great for time management and also fantastic when its ugly weather outside and walks are out of the question in particular.

    I'm with ya - no money. So, I do the SP 10 minutes videos in addition to walking or bike riding. They are great workouts and easy to follow!

    I just added back the 10 min Kettle bell to my elliptical thingy, and couldn't believe how much more of a workout I got. So I know what you mean. I don't think they have any kettle bell on the 10 min workouts on here, but you can type in and see. You can use a regular small dumbbell if you don't have a kettle bell btw.
