my way of learning if I like or dont like something as much as I think I do.

Thursday, March 22, 2012

Yesterday I had a Healthy Choice T.V. dinner that has about 27% sodium in it... I could taste the salt, it was gross. From lowering my sodium intake to actually trying something that has so much in it, I can really taste the differnce. Now I know that I Really don't like those T.V. Dinners no matter how healthy they say they are. They are sooo high in sodium it isnt even funny. I like learning things like that, not eating it for a while then trying it and finding out i dont really like it... like Dr. Pepper and mountain Dew and even coffee. I had coffee a few days ago, it didnt taste as great as I once thought it did. I'm not craving it as much as I used to.

Hopefully with me starting to work out a bit more it'll become a "I have to do this" habit. I fall in to habits a bit easily so I doubt it'll be hard to do. :) When I was a freshman in highschool, I used to love doing pushups most of all... maybe because I could actually do them back then, but now it's a bit like a chore, I want to get back to where I can brag about it. thinking of getting back in to the four count pushups instead of single count..... hmmm. internal debates here I come :)

I enjoy those Healthy Choices meals however, you are right about the sodium. The canned soups are the same and I enjoy soups as well. It's always something. I do understand what you're going through. My parents raised us on diet everything, no salt and no sugar. Almost everything is salty or sweet! Really into fruits and vegetables. Do those push-ups and we should not allow ourselves to indulge when it is unhealthy for us. This is a good learning and growing experience. Keep up the good work! emoticon emoticon emoticon
