New day new tude!

I am the type to wallow - maybe for a few minutes, then I say- enough... SNAP OUT OF IT. Gotta stay strong and move on. That is the song of the day for me. I was upset yesterday, but the bike ride at lunch, then the one I took later with my son helped clear my head. Today- new day and work out day with trainer.

I really went for things today- KILLED IT. Started with a mile warm up on the mill- 8:42 pace. Then I headed over to the trainer:

Set 1/3 sets of 15
push ups
toe touches on bench (count of 40)
Arnold S shoulder presses 10 lbs

Set 2 3 sets of 15:
jump rope (45 seconds)
squats with dumbell curls- 10 lbs
reverse lunges with knee in front- 10 lbs

Set 3 3 sets of 15
TRX chest press
tricep dips legs straight
step up on bench knee to chest

ABS:
3 sets of 30 second held planks
3 sets of toe touch abs

That was that. Then- no I am not done. I went back to the gym and proceeded to do 3 mile repeats. This means- run a mile as fast as you can.

Mile 1 7:55
mile 2 7:52
mile =3 7:42

Cool down mile 4 - 8:33
In between all of those 4 miles I let the cool down go for a walk at 4.5 speed. Total miles run/walked 5.74. NICE. I felt good. I stretched good. Tomorrow- want to try a longer run outside easy. Saturday will be rest as I have a 5k race Sunday morning. I have been snacking a bit, but I think the calories are working with my metabolism and how hard exercise wise I have been pushing it. We shall see. I forgot to weigh in. I will tomorrow? Ta ta!
