So I've been watching some DVDs and YouTube videos from Dan "the man" McDonald
www.life-regenera
tor.com/

He's kind of a funny guy in some of his YouTube videos, but I'm starting to bring on board what he is teaching and it is really good. Juicing is really great, but I need to step it up (must buy apples). He teaches raw vegan eating, juicing, smoothies and salads.

Last night I watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead"
www.fatsickandnearlydead
.com/
(available on Netflix instant play)
The creator Joe Crews went on a 60 day juice fast and for 30 of the days traveled across the US talking to people about food and diet. His advise was pretty much the same as Dan McDonald. Juicing fruits and vegetables was his way of cleansing, or "rebooting"

I probably won't go totally vegan, but I plan to get pretty close.

Good for you for going with this lifestyle. I have been a pretty strict vegetarian (almost vegan) since 2007 and I feel it is the right lifestyle for me healthwise and ethically. And I lost a good deal of weight pretty easily as well... slowly but steadily and have managed to keep most of it off by staying with this lifestyle... NOT diet... this is for life.
    Good luck!!

There's alot to be said about going natural with the foods you eat.

I've seen Dan's video and he's good. Even if you don't go Vegan, using his approach for a lot of your diet will surely make a positive change in your life. Good luck!
