Just a little burnout

I have realized (duh) that my plate's too full and is also disproportionally work related. Time to fix that! I'm looking at my extra-curricular activities and giving up what I can. I'm tired of spending my days off at work (even if I am getting paid).
It's been so nice out that all I want to do is get home and work in the yard/garden. The digging, mowing and tilling has been great stress therapy. I've been planning what I want to plant for months; it's time to get them in the ground. I do have seeds started already. I know the garden will take effort, but I also know it's very therapeutic for me.
I also want to play gaelic football this year. With the exception of the past couple years, I've been playing since 2003. Now that I've gotten some weight off and am exercising more, I stand a better chance of keeping up with all those young folks on the pitch. The only catch is practice is twice a week, 70 miles away. So that means training a bit on my own and trying to make it to at least one practice every other week if not one every week.
I've been doing a lot of reading on food and nutritional related topics: Sugar Blues, Wheat Belly, In Defense of Food, and now Eat to Live. One good reason why I'm expanding my garden this year. It's really got me thinking about what I'm eating, purchasing. I still slip up (especially on sweets) but am working on it.
March's motivational pic....hummmmm.... Since I need to get my backside moving, one from my last year playing with the Seattle Gaels should do the trick...
I CAN DO THIS!!!!!
