Really need to get motivated with the exercise

Wednesday, March 21, 2012

I have had alot of family emergency's in the past two weeks and exercise is not been a possibility. I have really felt it too. I come home too tired and maybe I am making excuses? I wonder if anyone else goes through this. I have been doing the WII fit when I do exercise and I really like that but I just havent been motivated in the physical end of my program. emoticon

Thank you all for thed encouraging words. I have been doing the wall push ups and some chair exercises while i watch t.v. at night. I am really excited about being able to just get moving. I am making it a point to put my health first and foremost. Today I did alot of arm and leg strengthing exercises. emoticon

I made it a habit to do at least 10 minutes of non aerobic exercise every night before going to bed. I hate sweating and heavy breathing so I just try to find every day opportunities to do a little more physically. Like parking, I purposefully park a distance from my destination. After dinner at a restaurant, I walk briskly back and forth before getting back in my car. Instead of the elevator, I take the stairs. Just to name a few ideas. emoticon

I defiantly have those days too! Sometimes I just give in to it. Then there are the days I try to project myself into tomorrow. I think how disappointed am I going at myself if I don't do at least 10 minutes of exercise.

You can walk in place, do arm exercises or just do so good stretches to release all the stress from the day. I guarantee you will be smiling the next day at your strength to stay on track.

I'm really sorry with everything you are going through right now. I know it can really be hard sometimes. But I know when I start just even walking in place, it can be a good stress relief. And sometimes I just do wall push ups, going to the wall and push up with my hands. It actually helps! To take care of others you need to take care of you too! You are worth it!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
