Mid Week.

I wrote a nice long blog entry earlier this morning after I finished my workout but SparkPeople must have had a glitch because it got erased and was never posted. So here's take two...

This week has been pretty great. I'm back to my usual workouts, although using a slightly lighter weight for most of the exercises. (I did use 12lbs weights for a large part of my workout today so I'm definitely getting my stamina back.)

I saw the doctor on Monday and she was so excited about how much weight I have lost and my overall progress. She said I was her third patient of the day who had lost 30lbs or more and she was so proud of us. In her exact words nothing she could "do or prescribe was as good for long-term health as getting healthy" with our weight. Having her so excited made my day. I'm still "slightly overweight" but have officially left the OBESE category so all good.

I started cleaning out our bedroom closet yesterday after talking about it since mid-February. It hasn't been nearly as bad as I expected, although I doubt I will become a crazy cleaner after this. DH pulled down the other boxes last night since I couldn't easily reach the high shelf and I finished my sort through this morning before taking a walk.

My lunch is almost finished so off I go.
