Today I spent an hour lecturing my son on why he should limit his salt, sugar & sweets for himself and his family. Told him to check out the ingredients in canned vegetables, fruits and drinks. Since his blood pressure is a little high, really watch his salt intake. He called me back with what he had eaten yesterday and added up the salt, it was 4000 mg. His son's was over 9000 mg. Said that he should monitor their intakes for a week and find out what is causing it to raise the sodium levels, was it processed foods?? Sure was. Told him to find alternate foods. We'll see what he does. I'm doing great with my s's (sugar, salt & sweets), now let's see if he can. Lost 3 pounds last week.
Really trying for 1 - 2 pounds per week. I'll do it! Exercising does help.
