Day 3

I know the day's not done yet, but I've got dinner cooking, i've already worked out, etc.
So - did my cardio this morning. Didn't get up as early as I planned. I was awake - just couldn't get out of bed. The idea of working out exhausted me. Realized I needed coffee - and it did the trick. After a cup (and some almonds), I was able to do cardio.
Shower, back to work, lunch (more of that yummy fried rice, miso soup and a mini eggroll) and needed another cup of coffee. I usually don't drink so much, but I just didn't feel sharp. I don't know if it's the workout on the low cals before working out (around 100) or that I didnt' sleep great (the wind howled all night and we had to close the windows because of a skunk and it was hot!).
Made it through the afternoon (yummy snack of dried edamame with wasabi, 1/2 apple, 2 small slices of cheese - yes, i love cheese!) and now dinner is cooking. I'm tired again. I'm glad I dont' need to work late or workout!! I might snooze till J gets home - maybe get a little energy to do something tonite. Dinner = salmon, wild rice and broccoli. I do NOT like wild rice.. but J does. i know - rest sounds boring, very much like diet food...but i love fish simply made and broccoli.. the rice is the hard part. I'm hoping some lemon juice might help tang it up.

And so, that's my progress so far. Sore from lifting. Got things a little backwards, so I won't be lifting again till Wed (I want to do upper than lower because some of my uppers use legs for support and they were too sore!). I am NOT chaffing at the bit, wanting to eat everything around me. I've enjoyed what I have eaten - not like I'm forcing myself to eat anything I don't like (except the wild rice). I still have a little wiggle room after dinner.. who knows, maybe a bite of chocolate (1 cote dor mini = 50 calories. eat real chocolate people - takes less to satisfy).

Hope everyone had a good day. Try the waking up thing again tomorrow (with coffee ready to go!)

    You did just fine. Eat enough protein to prevent those
slumps. Carbs are fine but they will let you down in the
long run. Glad you did your cardio early so tonight you
can bask in a job well done. HUGS!
