Tightening the Belt

Ok, it's March 19, 2012, first quarter is almost over and Spring is upon us. No more excuses about cold weather. No more lines to get on the treadmills (most folks have given up the New Year's Resolutions by now...). No more heavy comfort foods.
These are all things I have told myself over the past two weeks.
I have started to clean eat. Rice, pasta and basically all things white are off the menu for me. I am drinking lemon water to flush and taking my supplements. Saturday, I walked more inclines and started running. (I originally thought I would wait until I was under 200 pounds to run to save my knees and ankles but that was an excuse. No more excuses... I am getting it done!)
I had a good plan before. It helped me lose 35 pounds, but now, I need to lose 90 more. I am treading waters I never have before. I have been fat for years. Now, my lifestyle has changed for good.
I will never be a couch potato again. I will never eat 2000 calories of fat, sweets and junk at a sitting again. I will never eat more sodium, carbs or fat than my body needs to exist again. I have tightened the belt and and declared war on my old lifestyle and bulging tummy.
I can do this!
